LIMITED SIX MONTH-UNLIMITED MILEAGE REPLACEMENT WARRANTY

THIS WARRANTY CONTAINS NO COVERAGE FOR REIMBURSEMENT OF LABOR OR REPAIR COSTS

The following non-transferable warranty is effective for six months beginning from the date of purchase.

The sole and exclusive remedy under the terms of this warranty is exchange of the part or refund of purchase price, at Unitex Trading Company’s sole option.  Please contact Unitex Trading Company at 800-445-0890 during business hours for more information.

For REFUND OF PURCHASE PRICE, the goods shall be reassembled and returned to Unitex Trading Company, before credit or refund is issued.  Approval must be given by Unitex Trading Company prior to any returns for credit.  Freight collect shipments without prior notification and approval will be refused.

For EXCHANGE, Unitex Trading Company will arrange the return of the defective item for examination.  After approval, Unitex Trading Company will ship the replacement item freight pre-paid.

This warranty is void unless O.E.M. Emission Control devices required by Federal and State laws are reinstalled on the long block assemblies.  The buyer is solely responsible for the installation of the emissions control devices.

All long block assemblies, transmissions, and transfer cases are sold “As Is” with regard to external attachments not listed on the invoice.  We do not warranty attachments such as water pumps, starters, air conditioning compressors, clutches, throwout bearings, slave cylinders, etc.

All warranties are void if the following procedures and requirements are not met:

1. Oil and filter must be changed after 600 miles of service.

2. Heat tab must not be melted or missing.

3. A new thermostat must be installed.

4. Radiator must be flow checked and repaired or replaced as needed.

5. Thermo sensors must be tested or replaced as needed.

6. Timing belts, front and rear crank case seals and can seals must be replaced unless provided by Unitex Trading Company.

7. All external seals on transmissions must be replaced.

8. Remove oil pan.  Inspect and clean pick up screen to oil pump if necessary.

DAMAGE DUE TO FAILURE OF WEAR ITEMS such as timing belts, tensioners, guides, hoses, filters or seals not installed by Unitex Trading Company is not covered by this warranty, nor are oil leaks from defective gaskets or seals.

DAMAGE DUE TO IMPROPER INSTALLATION (installation not in accordance with O.E.M. specifications), accident, misuse, racing, overheating, improper maintenance and failure of related parts are not covered by this warranty.  Damages due to use or installation of related parts not in accordance with O.E.M. specifications (performance or suspension modifications, improper application for years or model) are not covered by this warranty.

Cost of diagnostic time, fluids, rental, lodging, damage to personal property, loss of revenue, tow charges, down time or inconveniences are not covered by this warranty.  Regular maintenance such as oil changes, tune-ups or any other type of routine maintenance is not covered by this warranty.

To the extent permitted by law, the buyer hereby waives all other remedies, warranties or liabilities, whether express or implied including warranties for merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, or whether or not caused by our negligence.  Consequential, general and incidental damages are excluded.  We shall in no event be liable for any breach of warranty in an amount greater than the purchase price of the defective goods.

This warranty gives you specific rights and you may have others, which vary from state to state.
